Summer continues to be quiet on the field, but coaching staff movement and program updates continue as teams prepare for the 2026 season. Here is today’s focused coverage of Division III men’s and women’s soccer only.

Coaching Changes

Women’s Soccer

• Jessica Christenson Named Head Women’s Soccer Coach at SUNY Brockport
  • Christenson takes over one of Division III’s stronger programs after Mike Idland’s departure to Buffalo State. She previously served as head coach at Keuka College (42 wins across eight seasons, NEAC regular-season title and Coach of the Year in 2018, back-to-back 13-win campaigns) and as an assistant at the University of Rochester. A former University of Connecticut standout and professional player (including the Portland Thorns’ 2013 NWSL title), she also holds deep Western New York club ties. Empire 8 / Brockport release.
• Trent Mosey Added to Women’s Soccer Coaching Staff at Luther College
  • Mosey joins as an assistant coach. He brings youth coaching experience with Lake Country FC (WI) and Milwaukee Bavarian United, private training work in the Dallas area, a USSF C license, and playing experience at Marian University (DIII) plus the North Texas Legends (UPSL). Luther College release.
