A Sad Day – Fontbonne University Closing

Another school is closing it’s doors. Fontbonne University has announced that it will not admit a freshman class in 2024 and will cease operations the summer of 2025. Sadly, this will not be the last school that will make such an announcement. It’s a reality that many small schools face. Shrinking enrollment, changing demographics, and economic hardship will drive more schools to face the grim reality that they cannot continue to operate.
