D3boards, last 24 hours
Men’s board was live this evening, with Kuiper and SierraFD3soccer among the users on the page. The index does not print last-post times, so a strict 24-hour post count is not available. The threads carrying the conversation are NPI Rankings 2026 and the NPI Simulator (Kuiper), USC Rankings 2026, Gregory Sager’s 2026 National Perspective (12 pages), NPI Change for Men’s Soccer in 2027, the weekly pool, and the long conference threads: NESCAC, Liberty League, Mid-Atlantic, New England, CCIW, ODAC, UAA, Empire 8, and NJAC. The live argument is still coaches’ poll versus NPI, especially Williams, Oneonta, and the 2027 formula change.
Women’s board did not return timestamped posts from the last 24 hours in this scan. Treat that as a crawl limit, not proof the board was quiet.
What X is talking about
The last day of #d3soccer is conference housekeeping, not a national debate. SLIAC posted men’s and women’s statistical leaders. Oneonta pushed the Byrne milestone. Brevard posted the schedule change. CUNYAC posted Thursday kickoffs. No viral controversy, no commitment wave.
Off the D3 map
Lionel Messi closed his Argentina career with a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win over Benin. Benin’s coach said Argentina did not allow shirt swaps or photos afterward. The numbers on the career are the story. The cold ending is the detail. The Athletic · Guardian live blog
Worth a rewatch
I landed on a SimpleCoach interview that is easy to skip because it is not a drill video. SimpleCoach to Coach with Steve Axtell, Cortland’s men’s coach, posted December 18, 2025. An hour on how a perennial Region III program actually trains, recruits, and handles the weeks that do not make the poll graphic. Worth the time before Saturday’s SUNYAC and Liberty League cards.
