The 2026 Women’s Top 25 thread is the live one. At 6:15 p.m., ziggy cited NCAA Soccer Rule 7.6.1: a game terminated before it begins is a no contest, and neither side gets a win or a loss. The board read is that Chicago cannot book a forfeit win under that rule, even if North Central is the side that did not travel. The Coaching Carousel thread is still up, but it did not produce a new hire in the last day.

Midweek results and hashtags dominate. #d3soccer and #d3wsoc are carrying conference score posts, short highlight clips, and “who’s playing tonight” graphics. Ranked teams in action (Messiah women, Rochester’s draw) are the engagement points. Conference offices are filling the gap on a light Thursday slate. The Chicago-North Central dispute is the argument thread. Transfer-portal marketing is starting to attach itself to DIII program names.
