Augsburg is first in the Bundesliga. Not the Auggies from Minneapolis — FC Augsburg. They rallied from 0-1 at Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday and won 4-1, sitting alone on top of the German table after two matches for the first time in club history. I was clicking through the SimpleCoachTV archive and landed on a conversation from about three months ago that still holds up: SimpleCoach to Coach with Kyle Dezotell, head men’s coach at Tufts.
Dezotell’s Jumbos are the defending national champions and the preseason No. 1. The interview is not a hype reel — it is a coach talking about how a title roster actually trains in-season. If you only watch one DIII coaching conversation before the first coaches poll drops tomorrow, this is the one.
