- Women’s Soccer draws curtain on 2026 schedule. The Sea Gulls released an 18-match slate with nine home games at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex. The season opens with a three-game road trip beginning Sept. 1 at Washington (Md.), followed by the Seahawk Classic (vs. McDaniel and Randolph-Macon). Home action starts with the Salisbury University Classic / Karnival Kickoff vs. Lynchburg (Sept. 12) and John Carroll (Sept. 13). The slate includes non-conference tests against Bridgewater (Va.), York (Pa.), Gettysburg, and others, plus C2C matchups. Nice Story of the Day – Haverford Edition
Hannah Krapes ’19 thought she was done with soccer after her playing days at Haverford. Chronic injuries (both ACLs) and a clear path into healthcare consulting and an MBA from Wharton seemed to close that chapter.
Then a LinkedIn message changed everything.
She’s now Director of Soccer Operations for Boston Legacy FC, one of the two newest NWSL expansion clubs. The economics major and former Fords midfielder is helping build the club from the ground up — travel logistics, player care, equipment, security, budgets, facilities, and systems in a league still finding its footing.
She describes the role as “the most business-oriented role on the sporting side.” Every day is different because they’re inventing the processes as they go.
Young Hannah who grew up idolizing Mia Hamm, Abby Wambach, and Carli Lloyd, who traveled to the 2015 and 2019 Women’s World Cups, and who learned resilience through injury at Haverford would have her mind blown. Especially on a night like the home opener with 30,000 fans in the stands and little girls watching players who look like them.
