John Carroll to the NCAC?
Just read on eXitter that it is rumored that John Carroll University will be moving to the NCAC. Big news if true.
If true, I think it is one more piece of evidence that they are afraid of my Mount Union Purple Raiders.

If true, I think it is one more piece of evidence that they are afraid of my Mount Union Purple Raiders.
I could see John Carroll being interested in a move to avoid Mt. Union (in football rather than soccer though), but it is more likely that this is driven/initiated by the NCAC. I’m guessing that they would prefer to get back to 10 members after losing Allegheny to the President’s Athletic Conference a couple of years ago and they want to have enough financially stable members to withstand possible future losses. See the article below with a comment from an NCAC official that seems to suggest that, plus a tweet suggesting another OAC member could follow, which would support a more general concern about adding members to guard against future losses.
