• UW-Oshkosh reinstating men’s soccer: The University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh announced the return of its NCAA DIII men’s soccer program (discontinued in 2015). Competition begins in fall 2027 as the 22nd varsity sport, joining the WIAC (bringing it to 7 teams with an automatic NCAA qualifier).
